CV submissions can be cumbersome especially for HR execs. These are pointers to avoid when writing your CV when applying for jobs:
Irrelevant Job experience
If it has nothing to do with the job you are applying for, it’s best to leave it out.
Date of Birth
Unless the job is age specific and you fall within the range.
Your interviewer should be able to pick key points in a glance.
Unnecessary obvious words
Unnecessary obvious words – There’s no need putting the word phone in front of your phone number, same applies to email.
Fancier fonts are harder to read and recruiters absorb less about you.
Finally, you must refrain from using unprofessional emails in your CV. Your email should be your first and last name. Instead of firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com use firstname.lastname@example.org for your CV submissions.
